Supreme – Leading the Skater Generation Since 1994

Terry Richardson - Supreme
Lady Gaga shot by Terry Richardson.

Supreme was founded in 1994 in downtown Manhattan on Lafayette Street by a group of skater enthusiasts who wanted to work with what they loved. In the last 18 years Supreme has become a center point for the skater generation and a vibrant and rebellious little home for the skate culture the world over. Supreme started with a handful of New Yorkers, who proudly took up the titles of skaters and artists, who wanted to infuse the skaters, hip-hop and punk generation with clothes and accessories that embodied the skater movement and all it stood for.
Since that time Supreme has exploded onto the skater scene and taken the lead in the skate culture, expanding their locations from the small founding store to 15 locations worldwide. From the punk generation in London, to the hip-hop scene in LA and the new-punk genre in Tokyo; Supreme has defined the skater, hip-hop and punk generation. Supreme has given its competitors such as Stussy, Obey and Carhart a run for their money. Supreme’s stylish street wear clothing has given the skate culture a springboard for individualism and creativity, creating a progressive platform for skaters, b-boys, punks and more to show their spirit and their uniqueness to the world.
Since its inception Supreme has lead the skate culture to higher levels by offering clothes and accessories to fit the needs of its customers. Supreme has shown its staying power in a fumbling economy and promises to continue to define the skater generation for years into the future.

Oh no Gavin Henson, back to TV?

Gavin Henson faces an uncertain future after his sacking by Cardiff Blues on Monday for drunken antics on a flight from Glasgow left him looking for his fourth club in little more than a year. The 30-year old, who departed Saracens at the start of last year and joined Toulon on a short-term contract which was not renewed after he served a suspension for sparking a fight with team-mates in a bar, had his contract with the Blues ripped up following an investigation into his behaviour by the club. Henson had issued an unreserved apology in which he admitted drinking after the Blues' RaboDirect Pro 12 defeat in Glasgow on Friday night and continuing to do so on the flight to Cardiff the following morning. He finished by saying he hoped to remain with the Blues, but his six months with the region, who have a Heineken Cup quarter-final against Leinster in Dublin this Saturday, ended after a two-hour management meeting. He was also banned from using the airline concerned, Flybe, for six months over conduct that prompted complaints from passengers. The company stressed it had a zero tolerance to unruly behaviour on its aircraft. "The safety of our passengers and staff is our No1 priority," it said. Read more here!

Fancy

If you have an iphone/ipad/macbook or some other kind of Apple paraphernalia, get Fancy! It's an app purely dedicated to pictures of really cool, cutting edge stuff.. There are lots of different categories, including womens and mens fashion, art, food, and many more. Just a word of warning though! You will probably want to spend your life savings (and then some) on the stuff you see on there.

Fresh Guacamole!

A bit of a favorite with us at the moment! This is a delicious stop frame animation of how to make guacamole. But not with food. With random bits and pieces, such as board game accessories, casino chips and hand grenades. If you're anything like us, you will find this really inspiring!

Hipster Branding

Hipster Branding by Dave Spengeler. This Tumblr is purely for the recreation of brand logos, in a hipster way.  They're pretty funny really, and I can't help but admit that I really like a lot of them much more than the real logos. Check it out!

iPhone Retro Photography!

How long before these hit Urban Outfitters I wonder?

"These days, everywhere you turn, you see an iPhone. iPhones in pant pockets, shirt pockets, fanny pack pockets. Not you: you've got a rangefinder slung around your neck. It just happens to take digital pictures and take phone calls. The iPhone Rangefinder is a phoneography system that gives your iPhone all the style of a classic camera. It'll equip your phone with a shutter button, viewfinder, aperture numbers, two loops for a camera strap, and a tripod mount! But it isn't all about looks. You actually get to use the shutter button and viewfinder to take your shots! Plus, you can attach all of your favorite Magnetic Cell Lenses: Fisheye, Wide Angle/Macro, and 2x Telephoto. The faux front lens is useful, too. A mirror is built-in, so you get perfect self-portraits on the first try. Even though you're shooting with old-school style, your photos will still have that awesome iPhone quality and instant gratification. While your iPhone's dressed up as a fancy camera it can still do everything it usually does. Just don't try to open up the back for film."

Tilt :
The hotel Au vieux panier asked me to design a room, I first told them that I wasn't interested doing just decoration in the room but I wanted
to create something that will look more like an installation. I thought about it also as a huge canvas where I needed to think about the composition
and play with the empty white part of the room to accentuate more the idea of Chaos on the other part. Then I asked my friend Tober who gat a great
old school style for tags, Grizz who is also the man behind the camera and Don Cho who is a Hip Hop singer from Marseille but who used to be
a tagger from my home town Toulouse. It took one week to do the whole thing cause the idea was to exaggerate what you can usually see in some
abandoned places. Too much tags, too much drips, too much sentences, too much throw ups ... What I also wanted to show is that people can appreciate
any type of graffiti, even the more basic, it's just a matter of point of view ...
